Usually when heading to Scotland we automatically head for Campbeltown BUT earlier this year we ventured further afield. We started a few weeks of touring on the East around Perth then moved on up the coast to Thurso then across the North and back down the West coast to Oban. It really was a trip of a lifetime. OK not around the world but the scenery was equally impressive.
Here are a selection of photos we would like to share with everyone.

Great photographs, as you say not abroad but some fantastic scenery non the less and is equal and in some cases better than those more exotic places.

Spent a small fortune to go to Bali the scenery was ok but did not see a sunset to rival those I see in Kintyre.

You're quite right Dunc.
Pity you don't have more sun though then it really would be world class. But then more tourists would flock in and spoil the peace you have, etc etc etc.

The photo with the lighthouse,is that Dunnet Head? Seriously though,excellent photographs thank you for posting.

Thanks for looking. I have tried to resize up but don't seem to have any luck. It will only let me reduce the size.
Will work on it later though.
